چکیده

Abstract Background Premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) is characterized by impairment of function on a continuum before the age 40 years. POI affected multiple factors. Considering new insights from recent gut microbiome studies, this study aimed to investigate relationship between microbial community structure and POI. Methods Subjects were recruited at Shenzhen Maternity & Child Healthcare Hospital. Fecal profiles healthy women ( n = 18), with 35) analyzed using 16S rRNA gene sequencing based Illumina NovaSeq platform. Results Compared controls, serum levels FSH, LH, T FSH/LH ratio significantly increased in POI, whereas E2 AMH decreased significantly. Higher weighted UniFrac value was observed compared women. Phylum Firmicutes, genera Bulleidia Faecalibacterium more abundant women, while phylum Bacteroidetes, Butyricimonas, Dorea, Lachnobacterium Sutterella enriched Moreover, these alterations closely related E2, level ratio. Conclusions Women had altered their microbiome, which associated hormones levels. These results will shed light pathogenesis treatment for

Association between Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and Gut Microbiota

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is the most frequent endocrinopathy in women of reproductive age. It is difficult to treat PCOS because of its complex etiology and pathogenesis. Here, we characterized the roles of gut microbiota on the pathogenesis and treatments in letrozole (a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor) induced PCOS rat model. Changes in estrous cycles, hormonal levels, ovarian morpho...
